Ecomerate is a research tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing it says is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell.

Before you start

What Ecomerate is for, what it is not for, and where every number comes from.

What Ecomerate is

  • A research assistant that reads company filings, earnings, prices and news, and explains what changed.
  • A monitor for the tickers, theses and portfolio you give it, with alerts when something material moves.
  • A way to check your own reasoning: it shows the evidence and the source behind each answer.

What it is not

  • A financial adviser, broker or portfolio manager. It is not authorised or registered as one in the UK, the US or anywhere else.
  • A source of personal recommendations. It does not know your full circumstances and does not tell you what to buy, sell or hold.
  • A trading platform. It cannot place orders or move money. Connected brokerage accounts are read only.
  • A guarantee. Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and AI answers can contain mistakes.

Where the data comes from

Company filings
Annual and quarterly reports, current reports and insider filings, taken from public regulatory databases.
Prices and volume
Quotes and price history from licensed third-party market-data providers.
Fundamentals and estimates
Financial statements, earnings history and analyst estimates from licensed third-party data providers.
News and recent events
Market news feeds and web search, for events not yet in structured data.
Economic data
Published macroeconomic series such as interest rates and inflation.
Your portfolio
Read-only positions from your brokerage, only if you choose to connect it.
AI answers
Written by AI language models from the data above. The models do not supply market data themselves.

Prices may be delayed. Fundamentals and estimates update on each provider's schedule and can be revised. Each answer is only as current as its source.

Not financial advice. You are responsible for your own investment decisions. Investments can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you put in. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. To the extent the law allows, Ecomerate Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information from the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

AI answers

Answers on the web and in iMessage are written by AI models from the data listed above. The models are told to use only retrieved data and to say when something is missing, but they can still misread a source, mix up periods or state something wrongly. Treat every answer as a starting point and check the linked filing or figure before relying on it.

Your decisions

Ecomerate does not know your full financial situation, objectives or tolerance for risk, and it does not assess whether any investment is suitable for you. If you need advice on your own circumstances, speak to a regulated financial adviser. In the UK you can check a firm on the FCA Register; in the US, on the SEC's adviser search.
