They are designed to help you examine price, volume, trend, volatility, momentum, market regime, and market structure in one workflow.
Read price action on the interactive desktop chart
Open Ecomerate’s market terminal to examine a symbol as OHLC candlesticks. The desktop chart supports mouse-wheel zoom, drag-to-pan, axis scaling, and a crosshair, so you can move from the broad price path to a specific bar without leaving the view.
The timeframe control provides 1m, 1d, 1w, and max modes. In this interface, 1m means one-minute bars; the other modes move through daily, weekly, and longest-available history. Changing the mode changes both the bar interval and the amount of market history supplied to the chart.
Move the crosshair over a candle to see its open, high, low, close, volume, timestamp, and percentage move from open to close. This makes it easier to distinguish a wide intraday range from a strong close, or a large price move from one supported by unusually high volume.
When corresponding news data is available, the desktop chart places markers above relevant bars. Their colors distinguish bullish, bearish, and neutral sentiment labels. Hovering near or selecting a marker can surface the related headline and summary, helping you compare a price move with the news context around it. The label is context, not proof that the article caused the move.
Add moving averages, volatility bands, and key levels
The desktop overlay toolbar groups frequently used studies into SMA, EMA, BB, S/R, and Advanced controls. Because every overlay is drawn against the same OHLC series, you can add context in stages instead of starting with a crowded chart.
Moving-average overlays
The SMA control plots 20-, 50-, and 200-period simple moving averages. The EMA control plots 12- and 26-period exponential moving averages. Shorter averages react faster to recent prices; longer averages make the broader direction easier to see. Crossovers and price-to-average relationships can describe trend conditions, but they remain lagging calculations based on historical bars.
